Massachusetts Winter Rates for Gas Released on 10/31/15: November 2015 – April 2016

Both Eversource Gas and Columbia Gas of Massachusetts released their Winter Rates in Massachusetts. There are effective as of November 1st, 2015 through April 30th, 2016.
Eversource Gas is offering residential and small commercial gas customers the opportunity to “lock in” the price per therm for the Supplier Portion of their gas bill. These customers will pay $0.7643 per therm for Gas Supply Charge portion of their bill even if the price of natural gas fluctuates during the course of the winter. Customers who choose not to “lock in” will pay $0.7443 during the same period but face the possibility of price fluctuations during the winter.
